I don't wanna, well I don't think so!

Los Angeles is not what I would call Cycling friendly. There are bike lanes down town and good ones too,(bike share coming soon) Santa Monica is fantastic for a LA Metro town. But for getting around i.e. going to work, to school, to the weed shop then the Armenian bakery, well its kinda sorta shity, I think the word is. What it does have is mountains lots of mountains, I honestly did not really think of Los Angeles as mountain city before we moved hear. Then again I don't think we researched it vary well, or I mean it at all, I knew there were strip malls and the Sunset strip (not in LA ) and Car Culture (what ever the fuck that is) These spots in Griffith park you can't get to by car. unless you work for the DWPLA or are a  Park Ranger you are walking, riding a bicycle, a lovely pony, to see these spots. no bikes on the trails but the closed ''paved'' service roads get you there

MY NEIGHBORHOOD

this is our house, Thats as about as much as you will ever see, as for the bike, itzs a 400 dollar motobacane that  I raced for a year in Portland, Its our house bike in that i use it for everthing within 10 miles or so, its a great bike with a weird mix of parts, and super functional too.

this is our neighbor I don't like our neighbor and i really don't like fake grass.

 I do like Tacos but I think this place is just ok(more on tacos later)

 this is some jerk doing to many things at the same time

 There are lots of good Writers in L.A.(more on that later too)

Bartoli chair

• This doesn't really have anything to do with Los Angeles. It has everything  to do with this chair. 1974 Carlo Bartoli, for Kartell, was available again for a few years a few years ago, cheap, elegant, removable legs, and well it looks like a chair, its what Mr. Jasper Morrison I think would call ''Super Normal"(we will come back to that later). 

INTRO

Los Angeles is big, messy, some say ugly,  and disorganized, I'm not from hear. Most of us aren't. Angelenos that is, I guess thats what I am now. 

  WELCOME TO LOS ANGELES, I ride bikes. I love bikes. Los Angeles does not love bikes. You  think they would. I mean the whole health beauty, fitness thing is kinda sorta a real thing hear, but you know what its all kinda fake too. They really like there cars hear despite nearly perfect weather. I know shocking.
